Softek Reports Continued Revenue Growth and Positive EBITDA

Leader in Nonstop Data Mobility™ software solutions achieves fifth straight quarter of positive earnings

Softek, the provider of Nonstop Data Mobility™ software that enables a simple and unified approach to moving live data over any distance, regardless of server platform or storage array vendor, announced that it posted first quarter total revenue growth over the prior-year same period.  Revenues from Softek’s line of open systems Nonstop Data Mobility™ solutions increased 63% on a year-over-year basis.  The company also achieved its fifth straight quarter of positive earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA).  Recurring maintenance revenue from Softek’s traditional line of mobility solutions remained steady at 95 percent.

Softek was the most frequently cited privately-held developer vendor of Online Data Migration Software/Data Mobility Software products, and second only to Symantec Corp among all cited independent software vendors (ISVs), in a study of storage professionals at U.S. Fortune 1000 and European companies by The InfoPro, a New York-based independent research network and leading supplier of market intelligence for the Information Technology industry.
